Ponsbourne 2 v Gosling - Match played 23/8/09 Ladies Div 2
......."Final match of the season, whoever wins are league champions.......score was 2-2 in rubbers, so the championship was to be decided by a 'Quick Fire' set......what a buzz, what tension........ great tennis, every point was tight.......Ponsbourne won 6-5, what unbeleivable drama, what a great way to finish a great match, the season and to become Champions.......the 'Quick Fire' set was brilliant, it is structured in such away that it allowed all players to get into their stride without the set going on for ever, a perfect way to finish a match where both teams were so level".......
