.....'Hot off the Press'.....Sunday 18th April 2010, First matches of the Mens Div 2 saw a great match between Steeple Morden v HBS Hitchin, with HBS 'running out' as winners 1-3. HBS captain Dave Morley commented, "the league format is great, we really enjoyed the match, lovely sunshine, Steeple Morden were very welcoming hosts. Big thank you to Phil Wheatly (Steeple Morden captain).....the sandwiches were great"!
All teams playing at Steeple Morden are now looking forward to 'sampling' Phil's sandwiches!! |
